AUBURN – The final celebratory act of Auburn’s incredible 2013 season, receiving the SEC Champions rings, will be done prior to Saturday’s A-Day game.
The hardware, a picture of which was tweeted out by Tigers coach Gus Malzahn on Tuesday, will be given to members of last season’s team, which posted the biggest single-season turnaround in conference history, going from 0-8 to 7-1.

The 11-team field of college head coaches and celebrity alumni is set to compete for their share of the $520,000 scholarship money for their universities.
“This event is really a celebration of college football, with National Coaches of the Year, Heisman Trophy winners and celebrity alumni, all representing their universities in a competition for scholarship money for their schools,” said Gary Stokan, president and CEO of the Chick-fil-A Bowl in a statement.… More
