AUBURN — The final road game for Auburn this season will be played at Tennessee and kickoff at 11 a.m. Nov. 9 in a game televised on ESPN, the SEC announced Monday.
No. 11 Auburn (7-1, 3-1 SEC) defeated Florida Atlantic 45-10 on Saturday behind 628 yards of offense, though quarterback Nick Marshall injured his shoulder. Jeremy Johnson was named SEC Freshman of the Week for his performance in place of Marshall.
The Tigers take on Arkansas this Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPN2 while Tennessee (4-4, 1-3) travels to No. 9 Missouri.
The meeting with the Volunteers will be the first between Gus Malzahn and Tennessee coach Butch Jones.
