AUBURN – The Iron Bowl will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 30, the SEC announced Monday. No. 6 Auburn (10-1, 6-1 SEC) will host top-ranked Alabama with an SEC West division title and berth in the SEC Championship on the line.
Auburn defeated Georgia 43-38 on a 73-yard touchdown pass from Nick Marshall to Ricardo Louis with 25 seconds remaining. Alabama (10-0, 7-0) hosts Chattanooga this week after defeating Mississippi State on Saturday.
It will be the first time the in-state rivals meet with such high stakes on the line. Winners of three of the last four national championships, Alabama is also trying to remain undefeated, while Auburn could get into the BCS conversation with an upset.
