Seven football players among 26 student-athlete graduates in fall

AUBURN – A total of 26 student-athletes graduated as part of the Auburn University Fall 2013 graduating class earlier this month. The graduates represent 11 sports programs, including seven from football, four from women’s volleyball, two from men’s golf, two from women’s basketball, two from equestrian, two from track and field, two from soccer and two from women’s swimming and diving. In addition, there was one each from baseball, men’s swimming and diving and women’s tennis.

The seven graduates from football are Kenneth Carter (Greenville), Chris Davis (Birmingham), Dee Ford (Odenville), Jake Lembke (New Lenox, Ill.), Jonathon Mincy (East Atlanta, Ga.), Cody Parkey (Jupiter, Fla.) and Jamar Travis (Brewton).

There were five All-Americans among the graduates that earned a combined 10 All-America honors. The graduates also include an NCAA runner-up, two U.S. Olympic Trials qualifiers, an All-Academic Scholar and members of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

The 26 graduates collectively hail from nine states in addition to Trinidad & Tobago.
