Tigers baseball games to appear on TV at least eight times

AUBURN — Auburn’s baseball team will appear on television at least eight times during the 2014 season, the SEC announced Thursday.

Six of the eight televised Auburn games will be at home, including two nationally televised games.

Auburn will host Missouri on March 27 at 6:30 p.m. as ESPNU’s Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week. The Saturday game of that series will also be on TV with FSN carrying the broadcast beginning at noon.

Auburn’s April 19 game against South Carolina will be televised by CBS Sports Network with first pitch at 4 p.m. That game will follow Auburn football’s A-Day game across the street at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

CSS will carry the Sunday game of the South Carolina series with first pitch slated for 1 p.m.

The Tigers’ other home TV appearances will come in the season’s final month against Mississippi State on May 3 at 6 p.m. (CSS), and the Tigers’ season finale against LSU on May 17 at 1 p.m. (FSN).

Auburn’s road games at Tennessee on March 22 (3 p.m.) and the series finale at Ole Miss on April 6 (1:30 p.m.) will both be televised by CSS.

All games in the 2014 SEC Tournament will be televised regionally, with the semifinal games (ESPNEWS) and championship game (ESPN2) airing nationally. Most televised contests will also be available online via WatchESPN/ESPN3.
