AUBURN — Gus Malzahn gave some injury updates following Wednesday’s practice.
Cornerback Jonathan Jones has returned to practice after missing last week’s game with an undisclosed injury. The sophomore missed the first four games of the season with a foot injury and returned to play against Ole Miss.
Jones downed a punt at the 1-yard line, providing a critical play late in the game with the Rebels, but missed last week’s game.
Malzahn would not commit to him traveling to Texas A&M.
It is “yet to be determined” if right tackle Patrick Miller and tight end Brandon Fulse, who were both suspended due to off the field issues last week, will travel with the team this week.
Defensive tackle Montravius Adams and tight end C.J. Uzomah have returned to practice. They were each held out of action last week for precautionary reasons due to undisclosed injuries.
Adams has nine tackles with one sack and six hurries and Uzomah has three receptions for 48 yards, including the game winning 11-yard touchdown catch against Mississippi State.
Linebacker Justin Garrett (right foot) will not travel.
